Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Circa. By downloading, installing, or using the Circa app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Circa.
1. The Service
Circa is a calendar app for personal use and for sharing events with people you invite. We provide it on an "as is" basis and may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Circa. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your Account
Circa creates an anonymous account on your device the first time you use a feature that needs our servers. You are responsible for activity that happens through your device and for the display name and content you share with others.
4. Shared Spaces & Invites
When you create or join a shared space, the events and information you add become visible to other members of that space. Invite links allow anyone who has the link to preview the space and join. Only share invite links with people you trust.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Circa to: (a) violate any law; (b) harass, abuse, or harm another person; (c) upload content that infringes others' rights; (d) attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; or (e) use automated means to scrape or overload our systems.
6. Your Content
You keep ownership of the events, notes, and other content you create in Circa. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content solely as needed to operate the service for you and the people you share with.
7. Subscriptions and Pricing
Circa is offered as an auto-renewing subscription ("Circa Pro") through the Apple App Store. Subscription tiers, durations, and prices are presented inside the app before purchase.
Free trial. Circa includes a free trial period at the start of your first subscription. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and you will be charged the price shown at sign-up.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price shown at sign-up unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Renewals are charged to your Apple ID payment method.
How to cancel. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your iPhone: Settings, then [your Apple ID name], then Subscriptions, then Circa, then Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. You can also reach this from inside Circa: Settings, then Subscription, then Manage Subscription.
Refunds. All refunds are issued by Apple at Apple's sole discretion. Request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
Price changes. If we change the price of a subscription, you will be notified before the change takes effect and given a chance to cancel. Existing subscribers may be grandfathered at their original price for some renewal cycles.
Family Sharing. Circa subscriptions support Apple Family Sharing where enabled by Apple. Other members of your Family Sharing group can use your subscription on their own devices according to Apple's rules.
8. Termination
You may stop using Circa at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.
9. Disclaimer
Circa is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved without loss. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important information.
Circa relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, subscription management, product analytics, and diagnostics/crash reporting to operate and improve the service. The app may occasionally experience interruptions, scheduled maintenance, or technical issues outside our control. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of providers and what they receive.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Circa and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
11. Apple App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and Circa, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. To the extent these Terms conflict with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, Apple's terms apply for that conflict only. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Circa after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
